Are you ready to make a major investment in your career? Johns Hopkins Medicine is implementing Epic, a leading electronic medical record system (EMR), across our entire medical enterprise.
By implementing Epic, Johns Hopkins Medicine will develop a fully integrated clinical and financial system providing access to a single patient’s record to any care provider, anywhere in our system. Epic will also allow patients to view significant components of their records, securely, from any computer. Improving the quality, safety, efficiency and convenience of care are just a few of the benefits Johns Hopkins Medicine will offer patients through our investment in Epic.
While the implementation will take place over the next three to five years, we are immediately looking to fill a variety of strategic positions to head up the Epic Ambulatory First and Epic Community Division teams. Qualified applicants who are chosen to join the initial implementation teams will undergo Epic Certification, a rigorous and professionally rewarding achievement that will help you advance your career and gain valuable leadership experience. Those who complete the training and become certified will be required to provide two years of service payback that will begin upon their receipt of certification.
