Managing Stress and Improving Your Well-Being

03/20/14
Improve your health, happiness and quality of life by learning various stress management techniques, such as mindfulness meditation and breathing, body scan, walking meditation and gentle stretching. Understand the wide variety of causes and effects of stress. Learn a variety of techniques and what works best for you. Also, learn how to tap into your inner strength to become more mindful and oriented in the present in different aspects of your life. This commitment can be a challenging one and may encourage a lifestyle change.

This course is for beginners and is designed to teach people how to (a) better take care of themselves using mindfulness techniques; and (b) participate fully in improving the health and quality of their lives as they work with various types of "stressors" or suffering that are limiting the life they would like to live.
