Shakespeare Theatre Class


In this class we will investigate and explore the timeless work of one of the greatest writers the world has ever known, William Shakespeare. Shakespeare Theatre Company (recipient of the 2012 Regional Theatre Tony Award) teaching artists will reveal the skills and techniques that professional theatre artists and scholars use to understand the work of William Shakespeare. We will also investigate the relevance of Shakespeare’s work in both modern society and the participants’ personal lives. Whether you are a long time Shakespeare aficionado or interested in experiencing the work for the first time, there is a place
in this weekly conversation for you. "All the world’s a stage" come be a player. If you have participated in a previous session, be assured that this session is all new material!

Friday, January 11 through March 29, 12 weeks. 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., Main, PDR 1 and 2, except for February 15th which will meet in Main, PDR 3. Cost $150.
