Intimacy and Dating: It’s Different After 50!
Does your body change after fifty or sixty? The good news and bad news is "yes." The seminar will uncover the changes that occur, in both body and mind, that affect physical intimacy. Common myths and misperceptions will also be addressed, such as dating after age 50. Dating at any age can be a challenge. If you’re 50 and older you might have a lot of questions about dating. The afternoon
session will focus on the challenges and joys of meeting new people and developing relationships.
Dr. Susan Milstein, a professor in the Dept. of Health Enhancement, Science and Physical Education at the Rockville Campus of Montgomery College in Maryland, will present the seminar. She has taught about intimacy and health for over twelve years, and has spoken to many groups and written widely on these topics. She is a master certified health education specialist and a certified sexuality
Schedule: Registration starts at 10:30 a.m., followed by the morning session on changing bodies. A light buffet lunch will be served, followed by the afternoon session on relationships.
Parking: A free parking voucher will be available for pick up at the registration table the morning of the event. This is for parking in the Sibley Medical Building garage only.
Registration: Cost of the seminar is $20, including lunch and parking fees in the parking garage. The seminar is open to all. Registration is required and will be closed when the limited capacity of the room is reached, so reserve early.
