• The Civil War was the first major conflict where railroads played a prominent role. The B&O was the major line that straddled a divided country. The War Came by Train is the B&O Railroad Museum’s commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the American Civil War.
• The Babe Ruth Birthplace Museum presents the life and times of George Herman "Babe" Ruth, Baltimore’s native son who became America’s first sports celebrity and a beloved icon.
• Sports Legends Museum at Camden Yards is the state’s sports history headquarters. It features exhibits on the Baltimore Orioles, Colts, Ravens and Blast; Orioles Hall of Fame; Negro League teams; the Preakness; the Maryland State Athletic Hall of Fame; and regional college athletics.
9 a.m. - Depart Sibley Hospital (please arrive 15 minutes before departure).
10 a.m. - Arrive at the B&O Railroad Museum for tour and 20-minute narrated train ride, "The War Came by Train" tour.
Noon - Depart for Lunch.
12:15 p.m. - Lunch at Phillips Restaurant. Choose when signing up from Caesar Salad with Wild Atlantic Salmon or Grilled Chicken & Tomato Sandwich. Both will include rolls, Maryland vegetable crab soup, dessert of the day, tea, coffee and soft drinks.
1:45 p.m. - Depart for the Babe Ruth Birthplace & Museum & Sports Legends at Camden Yards Museum.
2 p.m. - Arrive for tours.
4 p.m. - Depart for home.
5 p.m. - Arrive back at Sibley.
Cost Per Person: $89 per person, based on a minimum of 35 passengers. Includes transportation, tours,
