President - Richard O. Davis, Ph.D
Richard O. Davis, Ph.D, is president of Sibley Memorial Hospital. Dr. Davis was appointed to his current office in June 2012. Prior to joining Sibley, Dr. Davis was vice president for innovation and patient safety for Johns Hopkins Medicine, executive director of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Center for Innovation in Quality Patient Care and of Johns Hopkins Medicine's Access Services, and director of The Johns Hopkins Hospital's East Baltimore Ambulatory Operations. He serves on the boards of trustees of Johns Hopkins Homecare and Johns Hopkins Pediatrics at Home. A member of the faculty of both The Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health’s division of health policy and management and the Business of Medicine program of the university’s Carey School of Business, Dr. Davis has spent more than a decade teaching graduate level courses on leadership, organizational behavior, and quality in medical settings. He also regularly provides consultation services on leadership, quality, efficiency, cost control, patient safety and related issues to public and private health systems both nationally and internationally. Dr. Davis joined Johns Hopkins in 1994 as manager of administrative and building services. He was named administrator of the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and its surgery and special procedures units in 1995; senior director of The Johns Hopkins Hospital's admitting department in 1999; and senior director of the Hopkins Health System's ambulatory services, practice management and quality improvement, administrative fellowship program and operations integration in 2001. Dr. Davis received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, a master's degree in education from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in health policy and management from Johns Hopkins' Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Chief Operating Officer - Sanjay K. Saha
Sanjay K. Saha joined Sibley in February, 2014, as chief operating officer. Mr. Saha is responsible for the overall operations of the hospital and serves as a key strategic advisor to the president, other senior executives and physician leaders. Prior to joining Sibley, Mr. Saha served as executive vice president of operations for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem, N.C., where he led the divisions responsible for surgical services, ambulatory services, inpatient and outpatient diagnostic services and Brenner Children’s Hospital. He was also senior vice president at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, N.C., and held senior leadership positions at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. His areas of concentration have included surgical, orthopedic, cardiovascular, pediatric and women’s services. Mr. Saha earned his bachelor of science in biology at Wake Forest University and a master of health science from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Chief Financial Officer and Vice President, Finance, Community Division, National Capital Region – Marty Basso
Marty Basso serves as the Chief Financial Officer for Sibley Memorial Hospital and Suburban Hospital and as Vice President, Finance, Community Division, National Capital Region. Mr. Basso came to the Suburban Hospital Healthcare System in 1999 as the Corporate Controller. He was promoted to Vice President of Finance in January 2004. In November 2005 he was promoted into the CFO position after serving as the Acting Chief Financial Officer for several months. He oversees the following: accounting, financial analysis and decision support, financial and capital planning, budget and reimbursement, revenue and expense management, managed care contracting, billing and collections, patient access, and treasury management.
Chief of Staff - Conan Dickson, Ph.D.
Prior to joining Suburban, Mr. Basso held positions at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Montebello Rehabilitation Hospital, Anne Arundel Medical Center, and Montgomery General Hospital. He received his BS degree from the University of Maryland and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Conan Dickson, Ph.D., joined Sibley on May 14 in the newly created position of chief of staff of Sibley Memorial Hospital. He will provide senior level support to the president, project management, health system integration and strategic implementation. Prior to joining Sibley, Dr. Dickson was administrator of operations support for Johns Hopkins Health System and administrator of medical affairs for The Johns Hopkins Hospital. He also has had a range of experiences in operational and financial management in a variety of settings including: a large ambulatory practice, a congressional office and a faculty practice plan. Dr.Dickson taught corporate finance and quantitative tools for managers at Johns Hopkins University for several years. Additionally, he is active in the community as a past president of the Baltimore Rotary Club and as chair-elect of the Episcopal Community Services of Maryland Board. Dr.Dickson has a doctorate in health services research from Johns Hopkins University, a master’s from Yale University and bachelor degrees in health system management and accounting from Auburn University. He is also a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Construction – Jerry Price
Jerry Price is the senior vice president for real estate and construction at Sibley, a newly created position in March 2009 to develop and implement the campus master plan. Prior to being appointed to his current position, Mr. Price served from July 1, 1985 to March 1, 2009 as the executive vice president and chief operating officer at Sibley. Before coming to Sibley, Mr. Price served from 1979 to 1985 as vice president and assistant administrator at Columbia Hospital for Women and from 1976 to 1979 as the division officer for outpatient services at the National Naval Medical Center. Mr. Price attained the rank of Captain in the United States Navy Reserve. He received a bachelor of science from Utah State University in 1974 and a master of arts in healthcare administration from The George Washington University in 1977. Mr. Price is a fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives. He currently serves on the Adjunct Faculty of The George Washington University and the faculty of Georgetown University.

Vice President for Support Services – Alison A. Arnott
Vice President of Clinical Operations - Caroline Legarde
Alison A. Arnott is vice president for support services of Sibley. Ms. Arnott was appointed to her current office in December, 2007. Prior to being appointed to her current office, Ms. Arnott served, from 2004 to 2007, as director of management engineering for Sibley. Prior to joining Sibley, Ms. Arnott served, from 2003 to 2004, as the director of decision support for Boca Raton Community Hospital, and, from 2001 to 2003, as manager of forensics for healthcare services for the accounting firm of KPMG. Ms. Arnott received a bachelor of science in commerce (accounting) from the University of Virginia in 1996 and a master of business administration in Health Services from The George Washington University in 2001. Ms. Arnott is both a CPA and a board certified healthcare executive and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Caroline LeGarde joined Sibley on May 1, 2013. She oversees oncology, orthopedics, rehabilitation services, obstetrical and gynecologic services, imaging services, the Sullivan Breast Center, and the Renaissance Skilled Nursing Facility. Mrs. LeGarde graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of science in business administration and masters in health care administration. She completed her two-year administrative fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Health System. Mrs. LeGarde comes to Sibley after eight years at the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus, where she most recently served as the administrator in the School of Medicine’s Department of Dermatology. Prior to her time in the Department of Dermatology, she was a project administrator for The Johns Hopkins Hospital’s chief operating officer. She has been involved with the United Way of Central Maryland for several years, and organized community skin cancer screenings in Baltimore through the American Academy of Dermatology.

Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer – Queenie C. Plater
Queenie C. Plater is vice president and chief human resource officer of Sibley. Ms. Plater was appointed to her current office in March, 2005. Prior to being appointed to her current office, Ms. Plater served for 19 years in various professional capacities at Sibley including serving, from 1999 to 2005, as director of employment and employee relations, from 1997 to 1999, as management of benefits and employee relations, from 1993 to 1997, as employment coordinator, from 1992 to 1993, as human resources coordinator and, from 1989 to 1992, as an employment assistant. Ms. Plater received a bachelor of science in organizational management from Columbia Union College in 1991 and a master of science in applied behavioral science/human Resource Management in 1998 from The Johns Hopkins University. Since 2004, Ms. Plater currently serves as an instructor in the school of nursing and health sciences at Georgetown University.

Vice President of Medical Affairs and Chief Medical Officer - Lawrence D. Ramunno
Lawrence D. Ramunno, M.D., M.P.H., FAAFP, CAQ-G, CDE, is vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer at Sibley Memorial Hospital. He was appointed to this position in July 2014. Prior to joining Sibley, Dr. Ramunno was senior vice president and medical director for care management and integration at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, a major academic medical center and Harvard teaching hospital. Earlier, he was the chief quality officer for the Northeast Healthcare Quality Foundation in Dover, NH, where he spearheaded initiatives that delivered quality and patient safety interventions for participating hospitals that produced the highest quantitative performance in the nation. A family medicine physician by training, Dr. Ramunno earlier in his career founded a comprehensive family practice in New Hampshire as well as a center for preventative medicine and chronic disease management. Dr. Ramunno received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and his master’s in public health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Practice and of the American College of Physician Executives.

Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer - Joanne Miller
Joanne O. Miller, M.S.N., R.N., is vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nursing officer for Sibley Memorial Hospital, appointed in August, 2014. Ms. Miller, who has more than 20 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, serves as a member of the hospital’s senior management team and leads Sibley’s more than 600 nurses as well as heading Patient Care Services. Prior to joining Sibley, Ms. Miller served as chief nursing officer and senior vice president of Patient Care Services at Mount Sinai Roosevelt & Mount Sinai St. Luke’s Hospital in New York City, where she was responsible for both ensuring consistency of nursing practice and standards across the clinical settings as well as leading quality, safety and innovation initiatives. In previous roles, she was chief nursing officer and senior vice president of Patient Care Services at Union Hospital in Elkton, MD; earlier, she served as vice president of Patient Care Services and chief nursing officer at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital in Torrington, CT. Ms. Miller, who is currently pursuing her doctor of nursing degree at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA, earned her master’s degree in nursing from the University of Hartford, West Hartford, CT, and her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, NY.

Vice President, Strategic Planning, Community Division, National Capital Region – Christine Stuppy
Prior to her appointment to vice president, strategic planning, Community Division, National Capital Region, Ms. Stuppy was vice president of business development and strategic planning at Sibley since 2002. Previously, she worked with MedStar Health, now a ten hospital regional health system, for seven years, in the areas of strategic planning, and managed care. Prior to her time with MedStar, Ms. Stuppy worked in areas of capital accounting, hospital reimbursement and expense budgeting at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Currently Ms.Stuppy serves as co-chair of the District of Columbia Hospital Association’s Information Services and Data Management Committee. Previously, her involvement outside of Sibley has included serving on the board of directors and finance committees of Iona Senior Services in Washington, DC. Ms. Stuppy received her master in business administration, with an emphasis in economics from Drexel University, LeBow College of Business in Philadelphia, and her bachelor of science in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.

Senior Director, Marketing and Communications, Community Division, National Capital Region - Ronna Borenstein-Levy
Ronna Borenstein-Levy is senior director of marketing and communications for the Johns Hopkins Medicine Community Division in the National Capital Region. She previously served as senior director of marketing and public affairs for Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md., a member of Johns Hopkins Medicine. Prior to joining Suburban 17 years ago, she held numerous positions in hospital marketing departments in the Boston area and was marketing promotion manager for Hewlett-Packard Company’s Medical Products Group for 10 years. The recipient of numerous professional awards for writing, marketing, and public relations, Ronna has a B.A. degree in marketing communications from Simmons College in Boston and an M.S. degree in public affairs from Boston University. She has served in leadership positions on the boards of many community and professional organizations and was president of the Capital Area Healthcare Communicators for two years.

President, Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation - Arlene A. Snyder, CFRE
Arlene A. Snyder, CFRE, is president of the Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation. Ms. Snyder was appointed to her position in August, 2011. Prior to joining Sibley, Ms. Snyder was senior vice president, development, for Washington Hospital Center for five years. Immediately preceding this, Ms. Snyder was president of the Western Pennsylvania Hospital Foundation and senior vice president of development for the West Penn Allegheny Health System for eleven years. Ms. Snyder received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Snyder is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
