Knowledge is Power: Prostate Cancer Survivorship Series

04/30/14

Prostate cancer can be lethal (currently killing 1 in every 36 American men), but it can also have an indolent disease course (up to half of newly diagnosed cases may not need immediate treatment).   Dr. Ashley E. Ross will discuss emerging tests that use molecular features of prostate cancer to better determine which patients require immediate treatment and which may be good candidates for surveillance.

Note: This program is free and will take place at Suburban Hospital.
