Transitions Support Group
Humans begin life by making the biggest transition they will ever make, from the warm protection of the womb to the world they will inhabit for the rest of their lives. From that moment on, it is a race from one transition to another; transitions from infancy to older adulthood, from school to work, from being single to being married, from working to retirement or not and more. Some of these transitions will be planned events, some will not; some may be non-events. The more success we have making these transitions, the more satisfied we are with our lives. This theory of adult transition, developed by Dr. Nancy Schlossberg, is going to be the model that will empower group members to navigate transitions like pros. Get ready to take control!
This exciting non-therapeutic group will meet weekly on Tuesdays, 4 p.m. – 5 p.m.
