Annapolis/Chesapeake Bay Cruise Trip

Explore the scenic beauty of the Chesapeake Bay, America’s largest estuary. Relax and enjoy the sea breezes in the climate-controlled comfort of a cruise boat as you listen to stories of Annapolis history, the United States Naval Academy and the engineering feat of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. Then it’s a 3-block walk to the Hammond-Harwood House for a tour of one of the grandest Colonial homes remaining from the period. Known as "the Jewel of Annapolis," the house was originally built for wealthy tobacco planter Matthias Hammond in 1774. It was a period known as the Golden Age of Annapolis because of the city’s growing sophistication and stylish architecture. The Hammond-Harwood House is home to one of the finest collections of period furnishings and paintings.
