Grand Oaks Assisted Living - The Story of Grand Oaks

Comfort.  Companionship.  Peace of Mind.

In September 2000, Grand Oaks opened to its first residents. The gracious Georgian-style residence was designed to combine comfortable surroundings, personalized assistance, 24-hour support and a full range of services and activities.

Assisted living is a type of residential long-term care that helps adults maximize dignity, privacy, autonomy, choice and safety. Residents are independent in many ways, so the range and level of Assisted living at Grand Oaks in Washington DCservices varies widely from one person to another. Typical support services include administration of medication, help with grooming and bathing. A resident may require help regularly or on an "as needed" basis.

Grand Oaks residents enjoy the comfort and amenities of a gracious home, with personal assistance that enables them to continue an independent lifestyle. Supportive staff is available for assistance at any time of the day or night.

The 139 apartments, studios, and one and two-bedroom units have nine-foot ceilings and are spacious and bright.
