Meredith G. Garrett, M.D., FACS
Dr. Garrett serves as a surgical consultant to the U.S. State Department. She specializes in advanced laparoscopic surgery including abdominal wall hernia repair, inguinal hernia repair, small intestine and colon resection. She is certified in breast ultrasound and has a special interest in minimally invasive breast biopsy and breast surgery for both malignant and benign disease.

Brian M. Long, M.D., FACS
Dr. Long is the medical director of the Sibley Center for Weight Loss Surgery where he specializes in laparoscopic bariatric surgery, including gastric bypass, sleeve gastrectomy, and adjustable gastric banding. He also practices general surgery and has a special interest in other advanced laparoscopic procedures including hernia repair and gastrointestinal and biliary procedures.

Michael L. Palmer, M.D., FACS
Dr. Palmer is clinical assistant professor of surgery at Georgetown University Medical School. His main areas of interest include benign and malignant diseases of the breast, sentinel lymph node surgery for breast cancer and melanoma, thyroid and parathyroid, gastric, colon and intestinal surgery, endoscopy, hernia repairs and laparoscopic surgery of the intestine and gallbladder.

Martin G. Paul, M.D., FACS
Dr. Paul is chairman of the department of surgery at Sibley Hospital and is regional director of Minimally invasive Surgery in Washington D.C. metropolitan area for Johns Hopkins Medicine. He is a surgical consultant to the U.S. State Department, clinical
assistant professor of surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences and clinical assistant professor of surgery at Georgetown University Hospital. His special interests include laparoscopic surgery, breast diseases, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, surgical oncology and abdominal wall hernias.

Peter E. Petrucci, M.D., FACS
Dr. Petrucci co-founded Foxhall Surgical Associates in 1977. He is vice president for patient safety, quality and medical affairs at Sibley Memorial Hospital and clinical assistant professor at Georgetown University Hospital. His numerous honors include the american Cancer Society’s highest award. He is experienced in all aspects of intestinal, thyroid, parathyroid, hernia and breast surgery as well as basic laparoscopic procedures.
