President - Richard O. Davis, Ph.D
Richard O. Davis, Ph.D, is President of Sibley Memorial Hospital. Dr. Davis was appointed to his current office in June 2012. Prior to joining Sibley, Dr. Davis was Vice President for Innovation and Patient Safety for Johns Hopkins Medicine, executive director of the Johns Hopkins Medicine Center for Innovation in Quality Patient Care and of Johns Hopkins Medicine's Access Services, and director of The Johns Hopkins Hospital's East Baltimore Ambulatory Operations.  He serves on the boards of trustees of Johns Hopkins Homecare and Johns Hopkins Pediatrics at Home. A member of the faculty of both The Johns Hopkins University's Bloomberg School of Public Health’s division of health policy and management and the Business of Medicine program of the university’s Carey School of Business, Dr. Davis has spent more than a decade teaching graduate level courses on leadership, organizational behavior, and quality in medical settings. He also regularly provides consultation services on leadership, quality, efficiency, cost control, patient safety and related issues to public and private health systems both nationally and internationally. Dr. Davis joined Johns Hopkins in 1994 as manager of administrative and building services. He was named administrator of the Johns Hopkins Outpatient Center and its surgery and special procedures units in 1995; senior director of The Johns Hopkins Hospital's admitting department in 1999; and senior director of the Hopkins Health System's ambulatory services, practice management and quality improvement, administrative fellowship program and operations integration in 2001. Dr. Davis received a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, a master's degree in education from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in health policy and management from Johns Hopkins' Bloomberg School of Public Health.

Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Construction – Jerry Price
Jerry Price is the Senior Vice President for Real Estate and Construction at Sibley, a newly created position in March 2009 to develop and implement the campus master plan.  Prior to being appointed to his current position, Mr. Price served from July 1, 1985 to March 1, 2009 as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Sibley.  Before coming to Sibley, Mr. Price served from 1979 to 1985 as Vice President and Assistant Administrator at Columbia Hospital for Women and from 1976 to 1979 as the Division Officer for Outpatient Services at the National Naval Medical Center.  Mr. Price attained the rank of Captain in the United States Navy Reserve.  He received a Bachelor of Science from Utah State University in 1974 and a Master of Arts in Healthcare Administration from The George Washington University in 1977.  Mr. Price is a Fellow in the American College of Health Care Executives.  He currently serves on the Adjunct Faculty of The George Washington University and the faculty of Georgetown University.

Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer – Stephen C. McDonnell
Stephen C. McDonnell was appointed to the position of Senior Vice President, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Sibley in September 2010.  In this role, Mr. McDonnell oversees the day to day operations of the hsopital, works to ensure operating efficiency, achievement of various quality, regulatory and safety objectives and spearheads the development and implementation of effective growth and new program strategies.  He is also responsible for the overall financial management of Sibley. Mr. McDonnell has more than 30 years of professional experience in the areas of healthcare administration, finance and accounting.  From 1996 to 2010, Mr. McDonnell served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Sibley. Prior to joining Sibley, Mr. McDonnell served as Associate Chief Financial Officer and Controller at The George Washington University Medical Center and as Controller and Budget and Financial Planning Director at Indiana University Medical Center.  He also has worked as a Senior Manager for Management Consulting Services at Ernst & Young and as a Senior Auditor at Arthur Andersen and Company.  Mr. McDonnell received a Bachelor of Science from Butler University, graduating Cum Laude with Highest Honors in Accounting, and a Master of Business Administration from American.  He is both a Certified Public Accountant and a Fellow in the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

Senior Vice President for Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer – Joan M. Vincent
Joan M. Vincent is Senior Vice President for Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer of Sibley.  Ms. Vincent was appointed to her current office in 2001.  Prior to being appointed to her current office, Ms. Vincent has served as Director of Medical-Surgical Services, Director of the Department of Education and Training, Director of Staff Development Department, and, began in 1984 as Sibley’s Critical Care Instructor.  She has also served, from 1989 to the present, as the Nursing Coordinator for Sibley.  Ms. Vincent received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Virginia University, a Master of Science in Nursing from the Catholic University of America, a Master of Science in Management of Organizational Effectiveness from Marymount University and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Nursing Administration from Villanova University.

Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer – Queenie C. Plater
Queenie C. Plater is Vice President and Chief Human Resource Officer of Sibley.  Ms. Plater was appointed to her current office in March, 2005.  Prior to being appointed to her current office, Ms. Plater served for 19 years in various professional capacities at Sibley including serving, from 1999 to 2005, as Director of Employment and Employee Relations, from 1997 to 1999, as Management of Benefits and Employee Relations, from 1993 to 1997, as Employment Coordinator, from 1992 to 1993, as Human Resources Coordinator and, from 1989 to 1992, as an employment assistant.  Ms. Plater received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from Columbia Union College in 1991 and a Master of Science in Applied Behavioral Science/Human Resource Management in 1998 from The Johns Hopkins University.  Since 2004, Ms. Plater currently serves as an Instructor in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Georgetown University.

Vice President for Patient Safety, Quality, and Medical Affairs – Peter E. Petrucci
Peter E. Petrucci is Vice President for Patient Safety, Quality, and Medical Affairs of Sibley.  Dr. Petrucci was appointed to his current office in February, 2009.  Dr. Petrucci is the immediate Past President of the Sibley Medical Staff and, in 1993, was a recipient of the Sibley Medical Staff Award for Outstanding Service.  Dr. Petrucci is a distinguished surgeon and published author, is certified in several areas (National Board of Medical Examiners, American College of Surgeons, American Board of Surgery, and National Cancer Institute Investigator), and is an award winning physician, including the recipient of the "Outstanding Contribution to the Control of Cancer" award from The American Cancer Society.  In addition, he has served on the executive board of several professional societies and organizations, and has served as President of the District of Columbia chapter of the American Cancer Society, the District of Columbia chapter of the American College of Surgeons, and The Washington Academy of Surgery.  Dr. Petrucci received a Bachelor of Science in 1964 and a Doctor of Medicine in 1969 from Georgetown University.  He also completed his surgical training in the Georgetown University Surgery Residency Program.  Dr. Petrucci maintains a private practice in General Surgery with Foxhall Surgical Associates, PC, which he co-founded in 1977.

Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning – Christine Stuppy
Christine Stuppy is currently Vice President of Business Development and Strategic Planning at Sibley Memorial Hospital, and has been at Sibley since 2002.  Previously, she worked with MedStar Health, now a ten hospital regional health system, for seven years, in the areas of Strategic Planning, and Managed Care.  Prior to her time with  MedStar, Ms. Stuppy worked in areas of capital accounting, hospital reimbursement and expense budgeting at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. Currently Christine serves as Co-Chair of the District of Columbia Hospital Association’s Information Services and Data Management Committee.  Previously, her Involvement outside of Sibley has included serving on the Board of Directors and Finance Committees of Iona Senior Services in Washington, DC.  Ms. Stuppy received her Master in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Economics from Drexel University, LeBow College of Business in Philadelphia, and her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management.

Vice President for Support Services – Alison A. Arnott
Alison A. Arnott is Vice President for Support Services of Sibley.  Ms. Arnott was appointed to her current office in December, 2007.  Prior to being appointed to her current office, Ms. Arnott served, from 2004 to 2007, as Director of Management Engineering for Sibley.  Prior to joining Sibley, Ms Arnott served, from 2003 to 2004, as the Director of Decision Support for Boca Raton Community Hospital, and, from 2001 to 2003, as Manager of Forensics for Healthcare Services for the accounting firm of KPMG.  Ms. Arnott received a Bachelor of Science in Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Virginia in 1996 and a Master of Business Administration in Health Services from The George Washington University in 2001.  Ms. Arnott is both a CPA and a Board Certified Healthcare Executive and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE). 
 
Chief Information Officer, Community Division of Johns Hopkins Medicine – Kenda W. Tavakoli
Kenda W. Tavakoli is Chief Information Officer for the Community Division of Johns Hopkins Medicine.  Ms. Tavakoli was appointed to her current office, a newly created position, in September of 2011. In her role as Community Division CIO, she has operational and strategic responsibility for Howard County General Hospital, Suburban Hospital, and Sibley Memorial Hospital.  Prior to joining Sibley in 2008, Ms. Tavakoli served, from 2006 to 2008, as Vice President of Information Services for Washington Hospital Center.  Ms. Tavakoli previously held several positions at McKesson from 1996 to 2006, including Director of Corporate Strategic Planning and Business Development. Prior to joining McKesson, Ms. Tavakoli held the position of Director of Information Systems at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, in Salisbury, Maryland. Ms. Tavakoli received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Baltimore in 1983 and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from the University of Maryland in 2000.

Director of Public Relations and Marketing – Sheliah U. Roy
Sheliah Roy is the Director of Public Relations and Marketing and has been at Sibley since 1998.  Prior to joining Sibley, Ms. Roy owned a private media planning and buying firm in Alexandria, VA for 10 years.  Additional professional experience in the field of marketing includes work for Earle Palmer Brown, Kal, Merrick and Salan, Multi-Media Services and National Media Corporation all communication firms located in the Washington, DC metro area.  Ms. Roy received her Bachelor of Science Degree in broadcasting from the University of Tennessee, where she Graduated with Honors.

President, Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation - Arlene A. Snyder, CFRE
Arlene A. Snyder, CFRE, is President of the Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation.  Ms. Snyder was appointed to her position in August, 2011.  Prior to joining Sibley, Ms. Snyder was Senior Vice President, Development, for Washington Hospital Center for five years.  Immediately preceding this, Ms. Snyder was President of the Western Pennsylvania Hospital Foundation and Senior Vice President of Development for the West Penn Allegheny Health System for eleven years.  Ms. Snyder received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Pittsburgh.  Ms. Snyder is a Certified Fund Raising Executive.
