Hurricane Sandy Update

With severe weather forecasted for the Washington, D.C. metro area and the East Coast due to Hurricane Sandy, please take appropriate precautions to be safe.  Sibley Memorial Hospital is open and plans to continue business as usual to maintain patient care and safety.

Patients with questions or concerns about an appointment or procedure should call their physician’s office.

Sibley Employees: please allow yourself plenty of time to report to work safely. Be advised that METRO has temporarily suspended all transportation service for Monday, Oct. 29, so make alternate arrangements for your commute. Staff should prepare themselves to stay overnight at the hospital in the event that we activate Shelter-in-Place.
