Thomas Heckman, DO joins Sibley’s Pain Center

Thomas Heckman, DO recently joined Mehul J. Desai, MD in Sibley Memorial Hospital’s Center for Pain Medicine.
Dr. Heckman is board certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. His clinical interests include acute chronic neck and low back pain, neuropathic pain and sports-related pain. He has also served as co-investigator on musculoskeletal research projects.
Thomas Heckman, MD received his DO from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Georgetown University Hospital and National Rehabilitation Hospital, and his fellowship in Pain Medicine at Washington Hospital Center with a focus on interventional pain procedures.
