ALERT: Water advisory in some areas of NW
April 20, 2010
ALERT: The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC WASA) is advising customers in a specific area of Northwest not to use water until further notice because of a higher-than-normal chlorine concentration. Sibley Memorial Hospital is located in this area.
Please discontinue drinking the water. We have been notified that WASA – DC Water and Sewer Authority will be testing Sibley’s water for chlorine levels. Until that time, we will NOT be distributing bottled water. We expect to have those results soon.
We will continue to keep you posted on this situation.
