Sibley Appoints Administrator of their Renaissance Skilled Nursing Unit

Sibley Memorial Hospital has appointed Ms. Elise Miller, Director of Case Coordination, as the Administrator of the Renaissance Skilled Nursing Facility effective July 1, 2010. Ms. Miller successfully completed the Administrator-in-Training program and passed both the national and Washington, DC Nursing Home Administrator exams to become licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator.
The Renaissance Skilled Nursing Facility is an interdisciplinary rehabilitation program that is specifically tailored to help residents become more independent. Their mission is to provide safe, quality nursing care to the postoperative, orthopedic and elderly population; respond to their needs in a timely manner and address concerns of the families. The unit is hospital-based but is governed by the same regulations as nursing homes in the District of Columbia.
Ms. Miller will also continue to serve as Director of Case Coordination at Sibley.
