Washington Mystics Third Annual Breast Health Awareness Game is this Sunday, August 1

Sibley Memorial Hospital and the Washington Mystics will hold its third annual Breast Health Awareness Game on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. v. Tulsa Shock at the Verizon Center.

In celebration of Breast Health Awareness, Sibley’s own
Colette M. Magnant, MD, Breast Surgeon, will be honored at halftime. Breast cancer survivors will also be recognized. The Mystics players will wear pink jerseys and the first 5,000 fans will receive pink reusable grocery bags and pom-poms courtesy of Sibley and the Mystics.
Following the game, there will be a chance to bid on numerous items in a live auction to benefit Sibley’s Sullivan Center for Breast Health. In the last two years, over $75,000 was raised for the Sullivan Center.
Sibley Memorial Hospital is the Mystics' official healthcare provider and the presenting sponsor of the event. Attendees are encouraged to participate by wearing pink clothing to observe breast health awareness.
