Dr. Zuurbier named to "America’s Top Radiologists"
Consumer Research Council of America, a Washington, D.C. based research organization, named Dr. Rebecca Zuurbier to "America’s Top Radiologists" for the second year in a row. Consumer Research Council of America provides consumers information guides for professional services throughout America. Their purpose is to help educate and assist consumers in obtaining the finest professional services.
Dr. Zuurbier has been the Director of Breast Imaging at Sibley's Sullivan Center for Breast Health since 2002. She is recognized as a leader in the early detection of breast cancer. Sibley’s breast cancer program diagnoses and treats more cases of breast cancer than any other center in the DC metropolitan area. Dr. Zuurbier also serves as a Trustee of The National Consortium of Breast Centers.
Rebecca Zuurbier, MD, is one of five invited lecturers for the American College of Radiology’s course given to radiology residents through the Armed Forces Institute of Pathology. She has been an invited speaker at numerous courses nationally and internationally and has appeared on national network news (CBS, ABC) as an expert commentator. In addition, Dr. Zuurbier has written for publications such as Spears' "Surgery of the Breast," Imaging Handbook for House Officers, Internal Medicine Clinics of North America, and Siegel’s "Filmless Radiography."
