Joint Commission Survey: Excellent Outcome

Sibley Memorial Hospital received an outstanding result from the December 2008 survey by the Joint Commission. Sibley was surveyed under the new 'integrated survey' process, allowing the surveyors to evaluate patient care under both the hospital and long-term care standards.
The Joint Commission team was complimentary on the culture and quality of service provided by Sibley’s staff.
