A Generous Thank You to the Sibley Emergency Department

When Joseph Morisi passed away at the age of 95, many friends and family members sent contributions in his memory. The Emergency Department was the focus of generosity inspired by the care provided to Mr. Morisi.
Grace Bender, Mr. Morisi’s daughter, shared with members of the Sibley Memorial Hospital Foundation the meaning behind this generous tribute:
"I did this because I love Sibley’s ER. They always treated my father as if he was a newborn, with his whole life ahead of him."
Mrs. Bender requested that the numerous contributions donated by friends and family in memory of Mr. Morisi be used to renovate the Emergency Department staff lounge.
