Outpatient Nutrition Services

Whatever you ambition--losing weight, increasing energy, changing food habits, preventing disease or complications from a current medical condition--outpatient nutrition counseling at Sibley provides you with the knowledge to help you succeed in improving your overall health. 
Our goal is to encourage you to make gradual long-term changes in your eating habits and lifestyle, by providing support and advice along the journey.

We provide individualized nutrition plans for a variety of conditions including:

Referral and Insurance

A physician referral is required for all services. Some insurance plans may cover the cost of medical nutrition therapy. Services not covered by your insurance will be billed to you. 
Our outpatient dietician is available Monday - Friday for outpatient diet counseling. Group classes for diabetes management and weight loss surgery are also offered. Called 202-243-2349 an appointment or for more information.
