Mary C. Dupont, MD, FACS

Dr. Dupont is a board certified urologist who specializes in female urology, urogynecology, and cosmetic gynecology. She is one of the few urologists with two postgraduate surgical fellowships—at the University of Virginia, she completed a neuro-urology fellowship and, at UCLA, she completed a female urology and pelvic reconstructive surgery fellowship. Dr. Dupont has been nominated as a "Top Doctor" locally and nationally in Checkbook and Washingtonian. She is involved in community and peer lectures and training surgeons in specialized techniques. She was the first surgeon to perform the newer, minimally invasive, sling procedures for urinary continence in the Washington metropolitan area, performing over 1,000 sling operations. She also is a surgical technique innovator in the field of pelvic reconstructive surgery and has performed hundreds of prolapse repairs. She is recognized as one of this area’s top urogynecologists and appears regularly as a medical expert in television interviews.
