ANNOUNCEMENT FROM THE DC CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES
REGISTRATION
February 29, 2008
The Pharmaceutical Control Division is requesting that your facility not deny privileges to any health care practitioner that is required to have a District of Columbia Controlled Substances Registration until further notice. We are undergoing a delay due to the conversion from one software program into another. Licensed practitioners may renew their District of Columbia Controlled Substances Registrations at the same time that they renew their health professional licenses (i.e. dental, medicine, advanced registered practice nursing, etc) every two years. The Controlled Substances Regulations have been amended to allow for this change.
