The Renaissance is an interdisciplinary rehabilitation program that is specifically tailored to help our residents become more independent. Our mission is to provide safe, quality nursing care to the postoperative, orthopedic and elderly population; respond to their needs in a timely manner and address concerns of the families.
This Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Unit is hospital-based but is governed by the same regulations as nursing homes in the District of Columbia. Under these regulations, daily physician visits are not required. Patients are discharged from Sibley Hospital and are admitted to the skilled nursing unit for rehabilitation.
This 45-room facility provides individualized, comprehensive care to meet the health needs of each resident. .
