Mr. John F. Mills

“We live very well here,” says John F. Mills of the six years he and his wife Annie have been at Grand Oaks. “Well” includes an apartment they love, the elegant setting and furnishings of Grand Oaks, great food in the dining room and regular social gatherings including cocktails in the library. He points out that this is to be expected at Grand Oaks: “People who live here are educated and worldly. They know good food and wine.”

The Mills’ moved to Grand Oaks six months after it opened. They already had friends who’d moved there and now there are many more. He was quick to add his appreciation for the staff. “Please mention them. Annie and I love these people. The aides are a jolly group of people and their dedication to us is genuine. The waiters and waitresses in the dining room do an outstanding job. Annie and I started to distribute American flag pins in appreciation of their excellent work.”
